Spanish solicitor takeover of business - power of attorney issue
Hi All
Wondering if anyone can provide an answer for me.
We used a Spanish Lawyer whose offices were based in London called RDT . But they were taken over by Gascon Bernabeau several months ago. We gave 'Power Of Attorney' to RDT to sort out a deed issue with our flat in Spain , but now wish Gascon Bernabeau to do some conveyancing work. Will there be a need to give a new 'Power of Attorney' to Gascon Bernabeu or will the old POA with RDT still be valid and automatically transfer to Gascon Bernabeu? The reason I am asking is that the cost of arranging a new POA authority will be an extra £800.
