Default Working visa with a dependant

I am a non-EU citizen (from New Zealand) and have a job offer in Barcelona. I have a 2 year old daughter and I was wondering what visa she needs to apply for to stay in Spain as well?

    Hello Veetan,

If you have been offered a job in Barcelona you will have to first get a salaried work and residence permit to be able to take up the job, and your employer will have to help you file the application as he/she has to submit various documentation at the Immigration office. Once the Immigration office approves your application, you will be granted a visa to be able to enter Spain as a salaried worker. Without that work and residence permit you won´t be able to work in Spain. Your daughter will be able to join you after one year under the family reunion scheme. I am afraid that you cannot take her with you from the beginning; only on short stay visas to visit you, that are granted for a maximum period of 90 days every 6 months.

Please contact me by email if you want to learn more about the process.
