i want to ask a question please, i live in spain and get a civil partnership " pareja de hecho" with a italian girl , i am pakistani , when can i apply for spanish nationality , can i apply after 1 year - as every body can apply after marriage with a spanish girl after 1 year , can i apply like this ? thanx a lot

Hello Fair,

Note that the Spanish Civil Code does not contemplate 'pareja de hecho', only marriage, for citizenship purposes. In addition to this, your girlfriend is Italian and not Spanish, so both of you will need to have legally resided in Spain for 10 years before you could opt for it.
