Exclamation New spanish law for residency

    Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone could advise us regarding the new law introduced. We are both UK citizens but have lived in Australia for 7 years. We would like to take early retirement to Spain in a few years time. My question is what do they consider as proof of income? We only have 250 Euros of income coming in a month but will have savings of around 400,000 pounds and own a property in the UK valued around 120,000 pounds. We are planning to buy a propery around 150,000, will all the above be taken into consideration? Im so confused

    Hello Nightnurse,

That possible Spanish Law for residency ( that has not been passed ), is only applicable to non EU citizens wanting to emigrate to Spain. As you are British citizens, you do not need a residence permit to settle in Spain.
