Post Non-Lucrative Visa and working from home in Spain

I am a US citizen living in Spain with a non-lucrative visa for a year. I have an opportunity to work from home in Spain for a USA based company with no presence in Spain. All payments will go to my bank in the US. Is this legal? Are there any legal or tax issues?

    Hello,

If the income is generated via an activity that is not operated in Spain and working for a US company that has not got any presence and activity in Spain, you can certainly offer your services from Spain. The main issue is that you are not registered as a Spanish worker- registered at the Social Security Office - carrying out an economic activity in Spain.
