Spanish Personal Injuries Law Query
Hi all, i have a general query on Spanish personal injury law. Do the Spanish courts have a similar concept to or apply the English concept of aggravated damages? That is the awarding of extra damages to acknowledge the poor conduct of a defendant following an accident eg lying as to the circumstances of how an accident happened (and the lying being identified), deliberately deleting CCTV of an accident to prevent the plaintiff having access to it or creating false documents to support the defence of a claim? Basically bad or immoral conduct on the part of a defendant in a personal injuries case? Many thanks.
