Can anyone help please. I have signed a contract for the sale of a house in Spain with a completion date of mid May. May is the only time I will be able to get across to Spain. If I fail to complete I am obliged to pay a penalty to the buyer. Does anyone know what the situation would be if the impact of coronavirus meant that I was unable to travel across before my deadline because of measures put in place that affected travel? Would acts of god or force majeure apply to provide relief?
