    what is the legal age a person can leave the parental home?

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    It depends on how mature the said individual is.

    Arts 314-324 of the Spanish Civil Code rule on this matter.

    Normally its when they come to age (18 y.o. is the legal age in Spain)

    But it can also be done on three accounts:

    1.- The parents or those who hold the legal custody will allow that on reaching 16 y.o. they are free to leave. The parents cannot revoke this permission at la ater date.
    2.- If the parents or legal guardians do not agree to it the minor above 16 y.o. can request it from a judge who can actually grant it legally depending on how mature he is judged to be.
    3.- Marrying.
