My partner is divorcing me. Can I take the kids with me back to Norway?

I am Norwegian citizen, my partner is British, we have lived in Barcelona for 3 years now. We have 2 kids, under age 5. He is leaving me because of another woman, and my natural option is to go to Norway which is the best place in Europe to be a single mother. He does not agree, because of children. What are my rights? I want to take my kids to Norway and live there, naturally. Can he legally stop me? Any advice is welcomed.

This is quite a complex matter as it involved 3 different jurisdictions (British, Norwegian and Spanish) and therefore you have to be in extreme careful as your ex-partner could sue you for child abduction if this is not properly, from a legal point of view, arranged.

I suggest that you hire a matrimonial law expert in Barcelona as it is a matter which requires you to have a closer relationship with your lawyer given the nature of the matter.
