    Default Property Deeds

My Late brother owned a property in Southern Spain. My sister-in-law and I are named executers in his will and to date we have been unable to find the property deeds. Can anyone please advise if it is possible to get a copy of the deeds or where the original deeds might be held. My own property deeds in the UK are lodged with my building society, what is the general practice in Spain.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

You can always request either a simple copy or a notarised copy of the Title deed from the Notary before which it was signed.

If you are clueless on where it was signed just command a land registry search and the notaries name will be mentioned.

    Dear Sir,
Thank you so much for your speedy response.
I will consult with my Sister-inlaw and come back to you when we decide to pursue the matter.

    Regards
