Tenant Eviction

Hi there,

My apologies if this seems a litte long winded, however I have quite a complicated problem.

My family are currently renting out their property in ibiza to someone who has not paid their rent for the last 4-6 months. His last payment was after my family contacted him multiple times stating that he owed over 3000 euros, after which he paid around 1500 and stated that the rest of the amount would be paid the next day. suffice to say, that payment was never made..

Could anyone please advise on where my family would stand on getting the tenant evicted? As far as I know, no actual contract was signed as his agreement was to pay 450 euros a month, this agreement was done through email due to the difficulty in travelling between ibiza and the uk.

Any advise would be extremely welcome and helpful
