Comments: I have been approached by a company in Spain called Viajeria y Turismo Calle del Fuerte 10/OF. B7 29602 Marbella Spain Registrado en Marbella NRD046/99374 They had a person interested in buying my holiday club membership but I had to pay deposit £2,500 euros to cover costs incase I pulled out. I did pay this amount (not sure now if I have been stupid enough to fall for it). The guy from the spanish office has been in regular contact with me and advises the money for sale has all been agreed and settled with the notary but has been frozen for release to me due to me having to pay tax on the profit I made - please can you advise would this fact be true that the Spanish authorities would know I made a profit. I have been advised a letter from the Spanish Tax authority is in the post and once I have agreed to pay the tax the money will be released. I don't know if at this stage if I have to pay upfront (which I will not). Please can you advise if this sounds genuine or am I another scam victim. Many thanks

Hi Katherine. This is the usual timeshare resale avance-fee fraud (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance-fee_fraud) which has been going on for years. I recommend that you stay away from these people.
