Syrian national married to a Spanish citizen.

Hi Iam Syrian national (Male) living outside Syria for my entire life, Born in KSA and with a Lebanese mother . Iam married to a Spanish citizen and living in Barcelona for nearly a year. Knowing that in Syria it is nearly impossible to lose the citizenship. What are the laws to be able to be granted the Spanish nationality or passport?

Hello Maher

If you are married to a Spanish citizen and are a residence card holder for at least one year, you are now eligible for the Spanish Nationality based on residency.
