Spanish Nationality

I was married with spanish in 2005 and livied with her in spain for 3 years where i was regestered with her local community in madrid. i got my first 5 year residence card and after that i got 10 year residence card.

in 2012 i get divorced. now can i apply for a nationality now or not ??

Hello Vinny,

If you are no longer married to the Spanish citizen, you cannot apply for the Spanish Nationality based on a link that has been cancelled.

You will then have to wait until you complete 10 years of legal residency. I believe that if you got your residence card in 2005, you will be able to file your application next year.
