Spanish citizenship by origin

Hi,

I am wanting to obtain a Spanish Passport through origin. My father was born in Spain and moved to Australia when he was 1.5, when he was 18 he became an Australian Citizen. I am wondering what documents I will need to give to the consulate to receive my passport?

Will it be my australian birth certificate and my fathers spanish birth certificate?
