Hello,
I am a Non-EU national and my wife is Spanish.
I obtained my first residency card de Regimen Comunitario that was valid for 5 years and it expired last year.
I renewed it again and I was given a Permanent residency card de regimen comunitario but is valid for 5 years as well.
I didn't pay much attention to the validity of the card until I read that the permanent card should be valid for 10 years and renewed automatically, Real Decreto 240/2007. But my card is only valid for 5 years!!
Is this a mistake? should I worry about it?
My other question is what does it mean by " renewed automatically" ?
Thank you very much for your time and help.
