Viewing the accounts

I want to see the community accounts as there are some discrepancies in the minutes of the last meeting. The new administration have informed me that they are no longer able to talk to the owners on the orders of the new president?? I then asked if I could at least see the books and was informed that I would need a letter from a lawyer expressing why. Is this the case. I thought that as an owner I had the right to look at the books at any time.

Hello,

You are able to access your community accounts at any time providing you request them previously. On the other hand don't need to give any explanation as to why you would like to see them as by law they are available to all property owners. Ask the new administration to put in writing what they have told you. You will be able to claim this judicially.
