I wonder if anyone can help. My parents have a property in lanzarote since 1999. Since then my dad has been diagnosed with dementia and is now in a home. We have power of attorneyfor all his assets. My mother would like to transfer his 1/2 of the 50/50 ownership to me and my brother through the power of attorney. or the whole lot if it is cheaper. They are non resdients, have no mortgage. Which is the best way to go about this? and what kind of costs are involved? we have seen a solicitor but she keeps giving contradicting information. Does anyone have any experiences?
