Hi I am a non-EU citizen but have a Spanish residencia being married to an EU national. Been living in Spain for 5 years now. I would like to clarify - do I need a visa to travel to other EU countries like France? I know I need a visa to UK and Ireland but what about the other EU countries?

Hello,

No, you won't need a visa to travel through the Schengen states. Carrying you passport and your residence permit is sufficient. Note that you you can also stay for a maximum of three months during a six month period in any of these countries.
