Does Bratley and Sharp Associates ring any bells with anybody - my wife received a call yesterday for something similar.

We have now received an email with proforma asking us to send money via our bank

FACTURA DE PROFORMA

The claimants named above demand return of monies totalling £5,000 (plus compound interest not guaranteed) from aforementioned defendants.

This claim corresponds to monies paid and/or promised (as applicable), plus all costs and compensation incurred during recovery against defendants.

I am another who has received this call. Has anyone any experience with this firm. no one has yet said they were conned by them or have they only just started up. How can we verify their integrity or otherwise.

I'm sorry to hear this. If you have paid through credit card, please talk to your credit card company ASAP. If you have paid through wire transfer, there's nothing much you can do. In any case, I recommend that you report them to Action Fraud. (http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/)
