Hi,

Im looking for some help if possible. Can someone please advise what a Spanish resident (for +10 years) British National who is also director of a Uk ltd company, should do in order to legally file the correct fiscal requirements with the Spanish tax authorities? The Uk ltd company is not registered for VAT as it falls below the required threshold. At the moment returns/accounts are carried out by a Uk accountant and there has been no significant activity. however the need may arise soon .

Ive been told by Uk accountant that this is ok and that only monies taken back to Spain as personal income need be disclosed to hacienda as salary or dividends. Is this correct? from what i can see online there are different opinions on the subject.

Another question is if this is correct what about social security contributions/Autonomos/ and joint tax agreement for Uk/Spanish income?

many thanks
BB
