I am an english woman currently living in Spain. I have recently separated from my Spanish partner after seven years together, by whom I am pregnant. I would like to continue living partly in Spain for a number of years, in the house we both legally own until we sell it. I do not intend to put the fathers name on the birth certificate, which will be registered in the uk along with a UK passport, nor will I allow any social/parental contact.
Will the Father have any legal rights over the child in Spain or the UK and will he be obliged to pay the child maintenance? Can he stop me from leaving Spain with the child in the future and returning to the UK?
My email is qisme2@msn.com incase I cannot get back to this forum.
