Hi

Bit of a tricky one here. One of my friends was caught giving a very small quantity of drugs to another person in Ibiza back in 2004 (30euros worth of cocaine). Silly girl. Anyway, she was kept in a police station for a couple of days until she was released on bail. An English consulate met her on release and after discussing the situation, advised her to flee the country. My friend took this advice and made her way back to Ireland via Majorca.

She has returned to Ibiza twice since then and hasn't had a problem. Heres where it gets tricky though. We went to Barcelona on Friday and my friend was stopped at passport control. She was arrested. She was brough to court on Saturday where it was decided that she would be deported to Ibiza. She has been in Ibiza since Friday and at this very moment is awaiting a decision on whether she will be allowed out on bail or not.

What are Spansh laws like regarding skipping bail etc etc?

Does anyone know what could happen to my friend?

Im very worried about her

Thanks very much for any replies

Steve
