DOES THIS SOUND CORRECT WITH REGARDS TO RENTING YOUR PROPERTY IN SPAIN?....

If you are tax resident (over 183 days in Spain in one year) then you will only pay tax on 50% of the rental income.

You can also claim considerable expenses against the income including mortgage interest, IBI, agents fees, maintenance etc.

If you are non resident you cannot claim these allowances and will pay 24% tax on the income.

You are tax resident when you spend more than 183 days in Spain in one year - your income is not relevant to this.

Many Thanks
