Default Time to wait for re-entry spain after three months

    Hi,

My name is Ross, and I am a German (EU) citizen. For the last three months I have been in Spain as a tourist. I heard that Spain had passed a law in July 2012 that requires all EU citizens to register for staying longer than 3 months in Spain. I would like to know what is the time I have to be OUTSIDE Spain so I could be eligble for another 3 months (as tourist as before) WITHOUT the need to register in Spain.

    Gracias,
    Ross

    Guten Tag,

    Hello Ross,

You only need to register as a resident if your intention is to spend more than 6 months a year in Spain, otherwise there is no need and if you have a NIE you will be able to make any transaction required during your stay.
