Default Marrying in Vegas. Register in Spain?

    Hey everyone.
My fiance and I are marrying in Vegas in December but live in Spain. We are both eu citizens (me Uk him Italian). Finding it really difficult to find out how to go about registering the marriage in Spain.

I know we need the certificate apostille etc but any ideas where we have to present and what we have to present in Spain? Registro civil seems like it's only for Spanish citizens. Just wondering how we register it for tax purposes and also as we are planning to have a baby soon and would like to be "legally" married before then.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello Han456,

You are right, as none of you are Spanish Nationals you cannot register your marriage in a Spanish Civil Registry, but you can certainly register it at the British and Italian consular offices in Spain and the Spanish authorities will consider them valid. The American apostilled marriage certificate will be certainly required.
