The property next to ours is owned but not lived in by a business man in the nearby town. He lets it out on a commercial basis for parties held outside during the good weather. Disco equipment is used and played at a high volume sometimes it starts early in the day and can continue until 6 am the following morning. We cannot use our outside area, watch TV inside the house or entertain when these parties are taking place, we have no warning of when they are going to be held either. We are getting rubbish thrown over our hedge and into our swimming pool, including food, glass and compact discs. We moved here to the campo 8 years ago, and the past two or three years the problem has got steadilly worse.

Our spanish neighbours complain about the noise and mess left around the bins but are reluctant to do anything about it. Is there any recourse we can take. It is difficult to speak to him as we do not see him arrive when he shows people around. If the music was music instead of just boom, boom boom and played at a reasonable level we would live it it but when it stops you sleeping or utilising your outside area, it is depressing.
