Default Death of a relative search proves difficult

I found out a relative had sadly died in Spain some time ago. I have contacted the Consulate with a expressed concern over the estate any any business outstanding.

The consulate has no record of his name and am getting a little worried that time is short in terms of sorting out everything involved with the passing.

Would anyone have any advice on tracing someone who clearly is not on the records as we speak?

    Many thanks FP

How long ago was the death and in which are of Spain was the person living.?

Was a property owned and in who's name was it registered in ?

Was a Will made and registered in Spain?

Some of these answers may help you to find the answers you are looking for.

What relationship did you have with the deceased?

    Sam
