    Hello Elena,

I am unaware of Italian rules, but from the Spanish legal side, I can guarantee there is nothing to worry about, as Spain recognizes the Spanish nationality to children born out of Spain when the father is Spanish by origins. As soon as you return to Spain with your baby, you will be able to register him/her at the Spanish Civil Registry without a problem. Obviously, his father needs to be present to register the baby.
