My husband and I recently purchased a property in Spain. We currently live in the uk. Both the mortgage and the property is in my sole name. If my husband was to pass away, would his estate here in the uk have any claim on the Spanish property. My husband has a son from his first marriage.

If the property ownership and the mortgage are registered in your sole name, your husband´s heirs have not got any right to claim.
