Spanish born wanting dual citizenship

I was born in Spain but grew up in US (and am US citizen). I am wanting to reclaim my Spanish citizenship (and EU passport) but maintain dual citizenship. Will Spain allow this when I swear in? I want to keep both passports.

Hello,

The United States do not recognize dual citizenship as such, however, this does not mean that you can hold both passports and use them when convenient, that is, whenever you travel to the US, you should use the American one. Holding a Spanish passport does not imply losing your US citizenship.
