Selling apartment and garaje separately?

Hi,

Has anyone ever sold their property and garage space separately? I bought an apartment with came with a garage space but in order to make it a little more economical I though I'd try to sell it without the garage. Are there complications that I haven't thought about, eg having to split the deeds, etc.

Hello,

If the apartment and the garage appear as two separate buildings/plots at the land registry , you would be able to sell them separately and would not need to make an extra deed, but just the property sale deeds with the purchaser.
If the garage is annexed to the property anf they are both registered in the Land regisry under the same plot number, you would have to sell them together.
