Default Renewal of Tarjeta de Residencia (family type)

I am trying to renew my expired spanish residency permit card (family type) and having trouble with some of the forms. I have all the supporting documents ready, i.e. marriage certificate, passport, certificado de empadronamiento, etc. I do have some questions as to which boxes to check on the EX-16 form (solicitud de certificado de registro o tarjeta de residencia de familiar comunitario) and on the TASA form (Codigo 052, which is for "reconocimientos, autorizaciones y concursos" and modelo 790). On the TASA form, the only bullet that applies to me is 1.a) Prorroga de estancia. Is this correct? What do I need to put for "poblacion", "nº de expediente", "fechas efectos" & "fecha caducidad" under "descripcion" on the same TASA form?
And last but not least, where and how do I present all these documents? I live in Malaga. I am certain that there is someone out there who must have gone through this tidius and highly bureaucratic renewal process. Thanks in advance for anyone giving me any input.

    Dear Runonpaella,

    Welcome to the belegal forum.

The best thing to do is to get the legal assistance of a gestor to help you fill out the form properly as well as check that the correct tax is paid and that you have certainly got all the required documentation. The gestor will not only assist you in the preparation of the documentation, but offer other additional services, such us getting the appointment for you at the corresponding Oficina de Extranjeros, in this case Malaga´s office, escorting you to file the application, track down the file and also assist in the formalization of the residence renewal at the police station once the renewal application has been approved.

Please feel free to request a quotation of our services through our website´s contact form, as it is a service that Lawbird´s Immigration department offers.

    Best Regards,
