    Default Scam in German

I think this is another scam letter, but this time in German. :-)
The text is very similar to other scams in English.
    They also created a dead-certificate.

    Lieber ivan,

I've just received the same one. I'm living in Switzerland but I'm from Spain, so at first I was a little bit intrigued but reading the letter nothing was serious: a supposed relative who was an ingeneer working in China for 30 years and who died in the trains bombings of 2004 in Madrid, a heritage of 7.5 millions $, all written in english...

This supposed lawyer is from Madrid but the letter was sent from Valencia, when those cities are separated from 350 km! And the appearance of the letter is nothing professional, it's clearely a home-made one. His supposed adress is Calle Conde de Aranda 5, 28001 Madrid, there is a real lawyer at this place but as usual, it hasn't the same name and the phone number is also different. Scammers seem to have a mobile number instead (spanish phones start by +34 9xx and mobiles +34 6xx).

Whatever, I don't think that sending this kind of mails is the usual way for real lawyers to contact potential inheritors.

And for last, just a personal opinion, especially for non-Europeans: I hope that all those scams coming from Spain haven't give you a bad idea from this country. As you surely know, there are a lot of scammers operating from Western Europe but they come from another regions and as you imagine, this can give a bad reputation to those countries where they're implanted.

    Regards

I'm the author of the previous message. Just want to apologize for repeating some information like the spanish phone number system and the fact that the scammers are not Spaniards. I didn't read the first message from Lawbird Lawyer where it's clearely all explained about the subject.

Angry Barrister Bufete Leon, Abogado Servicios JurÃ*dicos

I (Dutch citizen) recieved this letter "utterly confidential" on my holiday home in Hungary.
    € 9,5 million with a 50/50 proposal.
A cheap dirty print; a good and solid office unworthy, so ........
The only real thing was the Spanish stamp on the envelope.
Everybody feel free to spam him : bufeteleonlink@ozu.es

    Default same is in Hungary

I have also received a letter from Barrister Bufete Leon about 9,500,000.- Euro in May 2012. He made a big mistake! The person who unfortunately died during the Tsunami in 2004 is a men, but in his surname is a female affix which means that "he" must be a woman and also married! Ignore these letters, this barrister is a creek!

Hello again, I'm the author of the posts 183 and 184. Just to tell that there is a REAL lawyer called Alfonso Fano Rodriguez but as usual, his real adress and phone numbers are totally differents from those provided by scammers (the real Alfono Fano is from Madrid). Also, the website abogados-arf.com works but it's clearely a fake site with cheap design, it was registered only 3 months ago (1st march 2012) and the contact data doesn't match with real Alfonso Fano's or even with the letter! Despite Alfonso Fano's office is established in Madrid, it isn't at Calle de la Bañeza 25 but in another street (as you can guess, there is no lawyer at Calle de la Bañeza 25, there are lawyers in this street but not at this number).
    Regards
