    Default Jura without Padron

The concession de nacionalidad por residencia was received recently. However, the applicant was removed from the padrón a few days before the nationality decision was received. The removal from the padrón was simply for failing to renew the padrón at the ayuntamiento after two years, which is required for non-EU citizens resident in Spain.

Will it be a problem that the person was removed from the padrón prior to the decision on the nationality? Do you need to be empadronado in order to do the jura? Is it re-register as soon as possible and then do the jura?

    Hello Saado,

You just need to renew the padron and proceed to finalise the nationality proceedings. The padron registration does not interfere in an already approved nationality resolution. However, I recommend you to renew the padron as soon as you can, so you are already registered at the time of the "jura".
