Moved to Spain from UK with long term partner who has now died

Please help!

I moved to spain from the UK with my long term partner in 2009.
We purchased a property, with both names on the deeds (50% each).
We both had spanish residency.
The relationship broke down 1 year ago and i returned to the UK, I lived with my sister as i had no home to live in, and didnt want to force a sale of my home in spain as my ex partner was ill, and the property market had collapsed.
I recently found out that my ex partner had died, and it had been kept from me for 6 weeks before i found out.
My ex has 1 daughter who is sole beneficiary of her spanish and british will, and i feel there are underhand tactics being used.
I am looking for any advice to help me with this matter, I would like to return to live in my home, as i am currently homeless in the uk, but i am worried my ex partner's daugher can force me to sell my home or prevent me from living there.
