Re Register your Will

I read on the web that many peoples wills can never be found or that parties decide to withhold wills for financial gain. Estates become intestate if no will can be found and this results in the beneficiaries of a will be excluded unless they are children or blood relatives. Why is it not law that service providers should at least register the location of a will? I see many websites offering a registration service. It would be fantastic to have statistics to narrow down places where one could look for a missing will. Any suggestions? If i registered my will with Willsafe for example, how would my nephew in Canada know that he should look for my will with Willsafe?
