Is there a way to ask about my NIE prolongation process (en via de recurso)?

Hi Belegal,
I was wondering if there is a way to ask about my NIE prolongation process (by phone, by email or by going to the office personally), if it is being processed, or it is finished.

The reason is my NIE was archivado, then when I submitted complete documents it was rejected, then I appeal.

However from my last I submitted the appeal documents it is almost 3 months as of today 7th sept.
So I kind of feel like is it being processed or they forgot or this is the end for me, etc

Here is what I got so far when I check the website
Estado de resolucion: en via de recurso
Fecha de entrada: 28/03/2017
Fecha de resolution: 03/07/2017

Hello Ronald

An appeal can take longer to be resolved. As three months have not passed yet, you need to wait. After that time you can assume the file has been rejected by administrative silence, or you can approach the Immigration Office and request to have an update on the status of your file.
