the court has set a date to start repossesion process, if I can't make the court appearance what will the concequences be for me. I know I am going to lose the property but are there any problems caused by not appearing at court.

Hello and welcome to our forum,

In these cases, the usual procedure is that the owner of the property object of the repossession has already appointed a solicitor who will represent him/her before the courts of justice for the purpose. In the event that the defendant has not counterclaimed the lawsuit nor has any interest in the litigation process, neither of them will be required to appear in court.

Our advice is that a solicitor has been appointed prior to the process.
