The Inglorious End of Macanthony Realty International: From Dust to Dust

October 2nd, 2010

MRI Headquarters in 2010

According to the Companies House, MRI International has relocated to the Spanish capital, Madrid, presumably with the intention of (dis)accommodating the company’s ever-expanding number of disgruntled clients.

Since Calle Azulinas to us means nothing, we decided to send a member of our firm to talk to their ever-attentive staff members, and find out if they would be willing to assist. However, when we got there, all we found was a decaying block of flats for the Madrid middle-class with no physical trace of the address they now claim to, which is Calle Azulinas 7, Bajo Izda (Ground floor 7).

This is a far cry from the times of the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, €100K beach-parties, bodyguards and the rest of paraphernalia that was associated with the now defunct organization. However, notwithstanding its apparent return to humility, the move implies more sinister motives, for what they have effectively done is “kill” the company by relocating to a fictitious address, appointing, at the same time, a director that happens to be no other than a purposely incorporated Peruvian-based company called Inmobiliaria Vasco-Peruana de Inversiones. This is a dead end where the postman does not always ring twice, because he simply cannot find a ground floor!

When going to the companies house we find that these inexistent offices are also company addresses for the following Spanish limited companies, all of which share one common denominator: they don’t have websites nor Spanish telephone numbers (and some share the same director):

  • Macanthony Reality International Spain S.L.
  • Jaguar Ardey Spain S.L.
  • Groot & Deed S.L.
  • Nass Servicios de Automoviles
  • Alkonda Inmobilien S.L.
  • Inversiones Suelos Comerciales de Murcia S.L.
  • Rochester Iberica 2000

The representative of the Peruvian company is a Spanish chap with a “conquistador”  name, Fernando de Arespacochaga y Alcala del Olmo who, according to a report we have obtained, travels regularly between both countries. No further information has been gathered, since they are not available nor are their phone numbers operative.

MRI Headquarters in the 'glory' days

It should be noted that this is the most unusual way to wind up a business and make it disappear forever, given the responsibility attributed to company directors. Unless of course they are based in Peru!

This is very disturbing news for those who have been victims of MacAnthony Realty International – all their companies are disappearing fast.
What have they done with all the money in their ‘Client Accounts’?

The fact that these sinister and devious cover-ups continue in the face of the E..U & ALL the authorities , yet again show us that our colossal persuit of this so called ‘company’ is a lonely operation.

Well, this information can only be disclosed by the account holders, or the Courts, as bank will not assist without the above requesting it, for legal reasons. These companies are however not being wound up properly but simply left to die.

If you have paid for a furniture pack from MRI and not received it, then you may want to join a group action.
If you do then please contact Antonio Flores (the group’s lawyer) asap for more information.

I would like to know if the British judiciary, police and government fraud investigators are still in the pocket of MRI directors since they stubbornly refuse to accept there is evidence of fraud or criminal activity by these crooks despite a growing number of MP’s, MEP’s and local press and bloggers exposing their activities.

We need action now from the press, the police and the courts, how much longer will they turn a blind eye?

So many thousands of innocent people, & the numbers are still rising now, have been XXXX by MACANTHONY, CAPITAL FINANCIAL PARTNERS, LEGAL INDEPENDENCE/MARTINEZ ECHEVARRA. Why are our Police, Fraud Office & Government Bodies saying they are powerless to ACT. I as a lone Female am not INTIMIDATED BY MACANTHONY, OR CARTER RUCK LAWYERS, so why do i feel these people are. Remember,we pay your salaries through taxes, & you SHOULD WORK FOR US.

I also think that countries like Bulgaria, fairly new to the EU,should NOT BE GIVEN ANYMORE MONIES by the EU until this XXX that was allowed to happen, & included the compliance of their countries LARGEST BUILDING CONTRACTOR, is sorted out by the Bulgarian Courts & they are made to pay back to individuals the money they are keeping, even when they have been found to be in BREACH OF CONTRACT.

I will continue to fight to have these XXXX brought to Justice & to make our GOVERNMENT ETC take our cause on.

    Oh how the mighty fall.
If you read his blog, personal spin box, you could almost feel sorry for him, if you didn’know about how he got his money in the first place. Is the money he has lost not just the money taken from his clients, who have lost too but unlike him many are completley ruined.

It is about time this man was publicly denounced.

Well done to all that have clicked on the link (see my previous post).
It appears that this link has rattled the Lions’ cage.
It’s a pity that only Clarence The Cross-Eyed Lion has shown an interest at the poking stick, as he is looking in the wrong direction.
He needs to concentrate more on the job in hand (or go to specsavers for an eye test), and not just rely on his enormous ROAR!!

Due to our impending legal case against MRI (Furniture Packages), it appears that they have been re-documenting their website (mainly the news letter written by the CEO).
    Not to worry!

HI I notice a comment regarding where their money went, well I gave them about 500,000,00 Euros, and as requested by the salesman we worked with half was in cash, the other half went to a numbered company in The British Virgin Isles. Our furniture we sourced ourselves, thankfully. The properties we have left as with those we were forced to let go are now worth approx one third of what was paid to those Crooks.
My fault entirely, it was too good to be true. I would however like to see someone do time over this fraud, and the right persons.
Thanks its good to see someone bringing this whole fiasco out in the open.

i bought an apartment from MRI in calahonda with a furniture package and a guaranteed rental for two years from MRI and i got neither. I also got an unfinished apartment after the two years lease back was over. It took them another year before i actually got my apartment because they kept it to supposedly to complete the work. I also found out that they hadnt paid any of the community fees which was their responsibility under the rental agreement so i am liable for those. Is there any point trying to pursue them or should i just move on?
