Dear Sally,

Ocean View Properties is now a defunct company and therefore, sending a subpoena is, in our opinion, a fruitless exercise. You are better off suing through the criminal courts the individuals that missappropriated your monies. You can email me direct if you wish to have further information.

Hello David,

You do have to have a new will, cancelling out the previous one. The reason to do this is that conflicting testaments may cause problems when enforcing them. With regards to your UK will, it certainly covers your wishes for after death, as it can be legalized for use in Spain. It will however cost you more since you will have to go through the probate procedures in the UK, and then have it translated and legalized for use in Spain.

I own property in UK and Spain and am a UK resident. I made a Spanish will in the 1980's but I now want to change the beneficiary. I have been told that I MUST write a new Spanish will to cancel the original. I have read your advice above and it seems to me that my UK will can effectively deal with my wishes regarding my Spanish property. Is this so? Do I need a new Spanish will?
Thanks, David I.

Dear Antonio,
I am currently renting an apt on a ten month contract in ANdalucia, and am about halfway íntima three-dimensional contract. However, I have lost a lot of working hours and want to move. I went to give my months notice to the landlord, who said that if they can't find a replacement tenant they would have to keep the deposit. Is this legal,or does the fact I have given sufficient notice entitle me to my deposit?

Kind regards

Mike

Ok. I write a blog about the real-estate market here in Marbella, and about such events as this case. Would it be possible to get an update after today's hearing or possibly a short interview about it? Have a look at the blog and let me know if this is possible. Thank you.
